Fishkill Farms is home to a flock of several hundred laying hens, who spend three out of four seasons on green pasture. By periodically moving our mobile coops to new fields, our chickens are free to browse on fresh grass and insects. This saves feed, returns nutrients to the soil and produces exceptionally flavored eggs, with dark, rich yolks, and thick, creamy whites.

The newest addition to the farm is a small (but growing) flock of sheep, also raised on pasture. You can visit all our animals on the farm. Our new sheep are still shy, but you’ll find the chickens to be overwhelmingly friendly (especially if you have food).
