This year, Julia Trunzo and Fox June, two seasoned organic growers, joined our team to plant a ten acre garden. Along with our fabulous and hardworking interns, they have seeded, nurtured, harvested, and hand-washed eight acres worth of spicy greens, heirloom tomatoes, miniature eggplants, and dozens of other unique vegetable varieties. Cover crops were planted over the remaining acres, an age-old method of boosting soil fertility. We grow all of our vegetables and berries organically, without any synthetic pesticides or fertilizers.
