Sheep Shed
Say hello to Nelson, Morris and Teddy!
Nelson and Morris are South African Dorper sheep. They are a “hair sheep” which means they have hair as opposed to wool. They will naturally shed their hair in the summertime.
Teddy the Tunis sheep (the light brown one!) came to us right down the road from Stony Kill Farm. He is an endangered American breed of fat-tailed sheep. Never docked, his tail will remain short and stubby, but his personality remains sweet as can be!
Please respect our animals:
- Do not climb in the sheep pen
- Do not throw any items in the pen or at the sheep
- Do not feed the sheep– our boys are well fed and need to stick to their diet of grass and oats, with occasional treats given by their caretakers. Treats given by customers can lead to severe digestion and health issues.
